The solo exhibition explored the impact of Dutch flower painting on Law’s practice and included a site-specific installation alongside a selection of sculptures and photographic prints in which Law paid direct homage to the still life painters of the Dutch Golden Age.
“We tend to overlook the wonders of nature that occur around us everyday. I want to capture and preserve these moments of natural beauty in my work to celebrate and share them with the world. My work is often associated with death and decay, but I see it as a preservation of life.”
