corridors
Exhibited: 13th September 2025 - 4th January 2026
Location: Preston Park Museum, UK
Corridors is a site-installation focusing on the people that surround the land of Preston Park and the plants that grow there. The artwork looks specifically at the seed dispersion left by the disused rail line that runs through the park. Corridors of natural material have been installed for the viewer to walk through.
More than 200 local volunteers helped to grow, pick, sort, preserve and attach flora to copper wire. Over 12,000 natural materials have been grown in Preston Park and entwined into the artwork.
‘Corridors.
This place between.
Ever moving.
Ever changing.
We hold on but can’t quite grasp.
We don’t know everything.
Knowledge is not enough.
A connection.
Physical.
Spiritual.
Seen.
Unseen.
An exchange.
Gratitude.
Acknowledging the sacrifice.’Rebecca Louise Law
